Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and endodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and clinical inventory
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate dental records and charts
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in New York State
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (eXact, Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
