Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate emergency responses
- Document clinical observations accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Provide clear triage instructions to patients and families
- Monitor vital signs and detect subtle changes in patient conditions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred for our diverse community
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
