Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental X-rays while adhering to ALARA protocols
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols for OSHA compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Coordinate laboratory cases and manage inventory of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active RDA license or Dental Assistant certification in California
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA credentials
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
