Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow, including scheduling and chairside coordination
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant treatment areas
- Perform inventory management and supply ordering
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene protocols
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
