Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and care plan protocols
Qualifications
- Current Oregon HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
