Responsibilities
- Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently using various venipuncture techniques.
- Verify patient identity and ensure all pre-draw procedures are followed.
- Prepare and label specimens correctly for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment to prevent infection.
- Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety and explain procedures.
Qualifications
- Active CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) license required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical phlebotomy experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
