Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and health maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare systems and documentation requirements
- Participate in emergency response procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with relevant experience)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Valid passport for potential out-of-state assignments
