Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining strict documentation standards
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and facility-specific protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control procedures
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for NICU/Peds)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with 3+ years experience)
- Travel nursing experience highly valued
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
