Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in assigned clinical specialty
- Adapt quickly to new hospital protocols and electronic health systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with JCAHO standards
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Complete all required onboarding and competency assessments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Specialty-specific certifications (e.g., CCRN for ICU)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and weekends
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
