Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop appropriate, individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Document all patient care services accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and healthy lifestyle choices.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, technologies, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel and relocate for assignment duration.
