Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to prioritize patient cases
- Document clinical observations and patient histories in EMR systems
- Provide emergency medical instructions to patients via phone and telehealth
- Oversee patient flow and department resource allocation
- Delicate patient education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and emergency department protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
