Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorations
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinic protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment efficiency
- Assist with dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft) documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms and instrument trays for diverse procedures
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Dental Assistant Radiology certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or DALE preferred
- Expertise in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (current or ability to obtain within 30 days)
