Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex procedures including implants and crowns
- Digital radiography and intraoral imaging management
- Sterilization protocol enforcement and OSHA compliance
- Patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Dental inventory management and supply ordering
- New staff training on practice-specific workflows
- Digital charting using Dentrix software
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant Radiology certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification with current BLS credentials
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
