Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Advanced radiography and digital imaging management
- Sterilization protocol oversight and infection control compliance
- Patient education and treatment coordination
- Inventory management and supply ordering
- Training and mentoring new dental assistants
- Digital charting and practice management software proficiency
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general/specialty dentistry
- Expanded Functions certification (EFDA) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- CPR certification
- Experience with Dexis/Epic software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
