Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex dental procedures including implant placement and orthodontic adjustments
- Advanced infection control protocol implementation and OSHA compliance oversight
- Digital radiography and CBCT imaging with proficiency in Dexis and Carestream systems
- Patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques
- Inventory management and ordering for dental supplies and equipment
- Training and onboarding of new dental assistants
- Dental charting in Eaglesoft practice management software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA with Texas license
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general dentistry with implant/ortho exposure
- CPR/BLS certification and current X-ray license
- Expertise in four-handed dentistry and rotary instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and chairside procedures
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and team coordination
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
