Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Manage digital radiography and practice management software
- Train new assistants on clinical workflows and compliance
- Order supplies and maintain inventory systems
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral cameras
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
