Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Advanced radiography and digital imaging management
- Infection control protocol implementation and auditing
- Patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Inventory management and supply ordering optimization
- New staff training and procedure standardization
- Dental practice software proficiency (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Coordination of surgical procedures with surgeons
Qualifications
- CDA/RDA certification required (California Board)
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Advanced knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Experience with digital radiography and CBCT
- Proven patient rapport and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume practice
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
