Responsibilities
- Assist in complex restorative procedures including implants, veneers, and full-mouth reconstructions
- Manage digital radiography and CAD/CAM imaging systems with precision
- Lead sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance across the practice
- Train new assistants on advanced dental technologies and chairside efficiency
- Coordinate with specialty providers (orthodontics, periodontics) for multi-disciplinary cases
- Maintain patient records in our EHR system with 100% accuracy
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for high-volume cosmetic cases
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency with Dexis, Sirona, and iTero systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance
- Experience managing complex case documentation and insurance coordination
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to maintain composure during emergency procedures
- Spanish fluency preferred for diverse patient population
