Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance across all operatories
- Train new dental assistants on clinical workflows and practice standards
- Coordinate patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in radiography and CPR required
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
