Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials following OSHA sterilization protocols
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Administer chairside support during patient procedures and emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in dental software
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on practice protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for optimal efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or DentalEZ practice management systems
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal date
- Excellent knowledge of infection control protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associate degree in Dental Assisting or equivalent certification
