Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography systems (Dexis/Sidexis) and intraoral cameras
- Implement strict infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC compliance)
- Oversee sterilization processes and inventory management
- Train new dental assistants on practice workflows
- Coordinate patient flow and assist in treatment planning
- Manage digital charting using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills for patient education
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Spanish fluency a plus
