Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency through precise scheduling coordination
- Perform advanced radiography techniques including digital imaging and CBCT scans
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice protocols and technology
- Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and equipment
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene procedures
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB/RDA credentials
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
