Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinical procedures
- Oversee inventory management and sterilization workflows
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate treatment planning with dental hygienists and specialists
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR certification with current BLS credentials
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to continuing education in dental technology
