Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and orthodontic treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and treatment planning software
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Train and mentor junior assistants on clinical workflows and patient communication
- Coordinate with front desk on patient flow and treatment scheduling
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist in dental emergencies and sedation procedures when required
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification and DANB radiology certification
- Minimum 3 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Demonstrated expertise in infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
