Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including endodontics and oral surgery
- Manage digital radiography and CBCT imaging systems
- Implement OSHA/CDC sterilization protocols and infection control
- Train junior assistants on clinical workflows and patient communication
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate chairside operations for multi-procedure appointments
- Assist with patient education on post-operative care
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology certification
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient rapport
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
