Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including endodontics and oral surgery
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate patient education and treatment planning
- Maintain digital patient records and practice management software
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Texas dental assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis software
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Experience mentoring clinical staff
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
