Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including endodontics and oral surgery
- Manage patient flow and chairside coordination efficiently
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral photography
- Implement OSHA protocols and sterilization procedures
- Train new assistants on clinic protocols and software
- Maintain accurate digital patient records
- Order inventory and manage supply chain
Qualifications
- 3+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Current DANB certification and radiology license
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging
- Experience with nitrous oxide monitoring
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
