Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery, implants, and cosmetic treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA compliance in all clinical areas
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinic workflows and best practices
- Perform digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinical operations
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for specialized dental procedures
- Implement infection control protocols exceeding industry standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical dental assisting experience in a fast-paced practice
- Current DANB certification and Pennsylvania dental radiology license
- Expertise in digital imaging systems (Eggleston, Dexis) and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for restorative and surgical procedures
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Proven ability to train staff and maintain clinical excellence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
