Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws with precision and patient comfort.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Verify patient identity and accurately label and process specimens.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Assist with inventory management of supplies.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT, ASPT, NHA, or equivalent).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely when necessary.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred.
