Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and orthodontic treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems and CAD/CAM technology
- Oversee inventory control and sterilization protocols
- Train and mentor new dental assistants
- Coordinate patient education and treatment planning
- Maintain OSHA compliance and HIPAA standards
- Perform advanced restorative procedures (cements, temporaries, impressions)
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 3+ years of chairside experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Experience with nitrous oxide monitoring
- Dental X-ray license (CO State Board)
