Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implants, crowns, and veneers
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Implement efficient patient flow and chairside management
- Execute precise dental impressions and provisional fabrication
- Coordinate treatment planning and case presentation
Qualifications
- Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license required
- 3+ years of experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- Certification in expanded functions (EFDA) preferred
- Mastery of digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Exceptional chairside efficiency and multitasking skills
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Experience mentoring assistants or training new hires
- Commitment to continuing education in dental advancements
