Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting during complex dental procedures including implants, crowns, and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on best practices
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance verification
- Maintain accurate dental records and patient documentation
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DALECC or DANB preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.)
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray license
- Proven ability to handle complex cases with composure
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to continuing education in dental advancements
