Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery, implants, and cosmetic treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and inventory control for 8 operatories
- Mentor junior staff and maintain OSHA/CDC compliance standards
- Perform digital radiography and advanced dental imaging techniques
- Oversee patient flow and clinical scheduling optimization
- Train on new technologies including intraoral scanners and CAD/CAM systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in a busy practice
- Current DANB certification and Florida radiography license
- Expertise in 4-handed dentistry and surgical assisting
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Strong leadership skills and team management experience
