Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and implant placements
- Manage digital radiography systems and CBCT imaging with precision
- Lead sterilization protocols and infection control measures exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on advanced techniques
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of premium dental supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-treatment care
- Maintain detailed digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience in a fast-paced practice
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credential required
- Advanced proficiency in digital radiography and CAD/CAM workflows
- Proven experience with nitrous oxide monitoring and IV sedation assistance
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume premium practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dental insurance verification and billing processes
