Responsibilities
- Conduct Thorough Assessments: Perform comprehensive patient health evaluations and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and treatment procedures as prescribed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient charts, incident reports, and care plans.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, state nursing regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (FL).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Availability: Ability to work part-time hours (20-30 hrs/week) with flexibility for shift rotations.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication.
