Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex dental procedures including implant placements and restorative dentistry
- Manage digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and digital radiography
- Execute infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Oversee dental inventory management and supply chain optimization
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinical protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and chair turnover efficiency
- Assist in treatment planning coordination with dental team
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Oregon Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) required
- 3+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Experience with digital impression systems (iTero, Trios)
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
