Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and treatments including chairside support
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards
- Manage patient scheduling and coordination of care
- Perform accurate charting and documentation using dental software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in dental radiography (DANB or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
