Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chairside assistance including complex restorative procedures and IV sedation monitoring
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT/Panoramic) and CAD/CAM workflows
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Train new assistants on practice systems and best practices
- Coordinate treatment plans and patient education for cosmetic procedures
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Assist in practice management software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 3 years experience in cosmetic/restorative dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of infection control protocols
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills for high-end patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced surgical environments
