Responsibilities
- Process medical claims using Epic and NextGen EHR systems
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients
- Appeal denied claims with meticulous documentation
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing processes
- Generate monthly reports for practice managers
- Collaborate with coding team for accurate CPT/ICD-10 assignment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in EOB analysis and claim adjustments
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
