Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography (X-ray, CBCT) and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on best practices
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for various procedures
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant Radiology certification
- Minimum 3 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification preferred
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; DA program graduate preferred
