Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for efficient dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate patient education on post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Active RDA license in California
- 3+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Certification in CPR and BLS
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging software
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Experience with expanded functions (coronal polishing, sealants)
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
