Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify medications with 100% accuracy using advanced pharmacy technology
- Train and supervise pharmacy technicians while maintaining compliance with state regulations
- Manage inventory control systems and coordinate medication ordering processes
- Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve complex medication therapy issues
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and prescription documentation
- Implement workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and patients
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license (PhT) required
- Minimum 3 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Background check and drug screening clearance required
