Responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations including prescription processing and inventory control
- Supervise 3-4 pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with DEA/FDA regulations
- Perform sterile compounding of IV medications and chemotherapy agents
- Train staff on new technologies and medication safety protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license with 3+ years compounding experience
- CPhT or IV certification required
- Proven leadership experience in pharmacy settings
- Advanced knowledge of sterile compounding USP 797/800 standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (QS1, Omnicell)
