Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile fields for complex surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile environments
- Manage sterilization processes and inventory control for surgical equipment
- Mentor junior technicians and enforce strict safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize surgical workflow
- Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 5+ years of OR experience
- Expertise in orthopedic, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular procedures
- Current BLS/CPR certification
