Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility issues and transfer patients safely between bed and wheelchair.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
