Responsibilities
- Perform routine clinical procedures and examinations under the direct supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs, patient histories, and symptoms.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during medical procedures.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and confidential.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle incoming inquiries and referrals professionally.
- Assist with basic laboratory testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA) or similar credential is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
