Responsibilities
- Perform basic life support (BLS) and other clinical duties as directed by providers.
- Assist in patient intake, vitals monitoring, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures.
- Answer patient inquiries and coordinate referrals to specialists.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
