Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and vital signs monitoring with precision.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and efficiently.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and manage front desk operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant graduate (CMA, RMA, NCMA).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth, Cerner).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced schedule.
