Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during diagnostic procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and electronic health records
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certificate or associate degree
- Nebraska MA certification or eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- CPR certification maintained throughout employment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
