Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab work including phlebotomy.
- Manage patient records and accurately update Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle incoming calls and inquiries.
- Provide patient education on medications and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
