Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab work including phlebotomy.
  • Manage patient records and accurately update Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
  • Schedule patient appointments and handle incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Provide patient education on medications and post-care instructions.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
